Now over 100 years old, the historic Louisville and Nashville Railroad Station
once saw as many as 26 passenger trains come through Talladega each day. The depot,
now used by the Talladega Chamber of Commerce, is located just off the main square of Talladega.
I have passed by the terminal hundreds of times over the years and never took the time to stop and enjoy its history until this visit to Talladega. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the building.
If you get a chance to stop, say hello to Elizabeth. She went out of her way to make sure I got as much information as I could about the Talladega area. A great ambassador!
